Louis XV Style 19th Century Ormolu Table Clock
A 19th Century ormolu table clock with bell striking movement in a gilt bronze case. The case still has its original mercury gilding and and is highly chased and polished, with a beautiful urn finial and canted corners embellished with scrolls.
The eight day movement is clearly visible through the thick bevelled glass panel on the back, revealing the bell. The dial is made up of separate enamel cartouche numerals in royal blue. This is a very decorative and high quality clock.
